Delete Your Roam Wyld Account

Option 1: Delete in the app (immediate)

1. Open Roam Wyld and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted from our live servers right away. Encrypted backup copies are deleted automatically within 8 days. This works the same on iPhone and Android.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, or can’t sign in:

1. Email support@roamwyld.app with the subject “Delete my Roam Wyld account.”
2. Send it from the email address you use to sign in to Roam Wyld, so we can confirm the account is yours.

We’ll confirm by reply and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in email
• All trips and bookings you created, including confirmation numbers
• Your travel profile (passport nationality, home currency)
• Travel insurance details you added
• Trip invitations you sent, and your access to trips shared with you

What may be kept

• Encrypted backups of our database, which may contain your data for up to 8 days after deletion. They are used only to recover from errors, are never used to restore a deleted account, and are deleted automatically.
• Usage analytics in PostHog, linked to a random account ID rather than your name or email address, kept for up to 7 years.
• Crash and error logs in Sentry, which do not include your name or email address, deleted automatically after 30 days.
• A sign-in security log kept by our sign-in provider, including your email address and IP address, deleted automatically after 30 days.
• An anonymous deletion record (month, platform, and ranges for account age and number of trips), with no name, email address, or account ID.

If you connected Gmail, you can also revoke Roam Wyld’s access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
